Who is THE FAITHRUL BEAR?
Hi, I’m Katie, growing up I was often called Katiebear! In 2017 I married Cody, who, coincidentally, grew up Codybear! Together we are the parents of two beautiful girls, Abigail and Olivia. I am a Texas girl through and through—loving life, loving creativity, and learning to embrace every season. Like many women, I wear a lot of hats: full-time sales rep, mom, wife, maid, cook… you name it. Somewhere along the way, I realized I had lost me.
The stress of everyday life started to feel heavy, and I found myself overwhelmed and discouraged. I tried therapy, but it just wasn’t the right fit for me. What truly helped was going back to what God had already placed in my heart—creating. I told my husband I was starting a small business, not just to sell handmade items, but to reclaim joy, peace, and purpose.
Now I proudly call myself a “hobby-hoe” 😄—dabbling in resin art, diamond art, custom cups and glassware, and all things beads. Each craft brings its own kind of joy. Diamond art, cups, and beads give me control and order, while resin has taught me patience, trust, and acceptance. When you pour colors into a mold, you never fully know what the outcome will be—and isn’t that just like life? Sometimes you have to let go and let God! Trust the process!
This shop is more than handmade goods. It’s healing, faith, creativity, and a reminder that it’s okay to make time for yourself.
